The Cuivre River Electric Community Trust Board awarded $85,500 in college scholarships to 86 students during its meeting held on June 9, 2022. This is the largest amount of scholarship money awarded in a single year by the Trust Board. A total of 127 applications were submitted.

Scholarship funds are donated by Cuivre River Electric members who participate in Operation Round Up by rounding up their electric bill payments each month to the next highest dollar.

Note: Students receiving scholarships will receive a check made payable to their college in the mail soon.
