Since 1941, Cuivre River Electric Cooperative (CREC) has been proud to serve its members across five counties: Lincoln, Montgomery, Pike, St. Charles, and Warren counties in Missouri. CREC is the largest of Missouri's 40 consumer-owned electric distribution cooperatives, providing electricity to more than 70,000 homes and businesses.

CREC History
In 1941, twelve individuals came together to form what would become Cuivre River Electric Cooperative. Our rich history has led us to become the largest electric cooperative in the great State of Missouri.
