The Cuivre River Electric Community Trust Board met in July and awarded $26,497 in grants funded through Operation Round Up. Health grants were awarded to seven individuals and families from Moscow Mills, O’Fallon, St. Peters, Troy, and Wentzville. They included supporting a disabled individual needing a trailer hitch and scooter carrier for their vehicle, another disabled woman needing an HVAC replacement, a family who needed a wheelchair ramp constructed for their disabled child, and a family with an autistic child in need of an indoor swing.
Community organizations that received grants included:
- Bread for Life Food Pantry — $3,750 to fund replenishing their pantry shelves with food to help needy families.
- Food Outreach — $3,750 to help with meals and groceries for families in need in our service areas.
- Marthasville Community Ambulance District — $915 to help with the purchase of water rescue vests for crews.
We are grateful to our members who participate in the Operation Round Up program! Your generous support helps us to help those in need in the communities we serve.
