The Cuivre River Electric Community Trust Board met in March and awarded $20,928 in grants funded through Operation
Round Up. Health grants were awarded to 10 individuals and families from Bowling Green, Foley, O’Fallon, New Florence,
St. Charles, Troy, Truesdale, Wentzville, and Winfield, and included supporting a developmentally disabled individual to attend Camp Wonderland for special needs, helping a family fund a playground set to accommodate their disabled
child’s special needs and helping a woman in need of cataract surgery.

Weatherization grants were awarded to several individuals in need of repair/replacement of HVAC systems for their
homes, and to a woman who needed her well replaced.

Community organizations that received grants included:
• Harvest Ridge Garden Club— $500 to support the organization’s science of gardening education program for elementary-age students.

We are grateful to our members who participate in the Operation Round Up program! Your generous support helps us to help those in need in the communities we serve.
