Health grants were awarded to 12 individuals and families from Bowling Green, O’Fallon, St. Charles, Troy, Warrenton, and Winfield, and included supporting five developmentally disabled individuals to attend Camp Wonderland for special needs and helping a single mom with modifications to her vehicle to accommodate transporting her disabled child who uses a wheelchair. A weatherization grant was awarded to a disabled gentleman in need of a new furnace.

Community organizations that received grants included:

St. Charles County YMCA - $6,000 to support the organization’s afterschool care program for special needs children.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace - $5,000 to help with supplies for building twin-size beds provided to children of families in need.
