Register for the Co-op Connections program and prescription drug discounts and many more health-related savings will be at your fingertips!

The program is a free benefit of your CREC membership. In 2008, when Co-op Connections was introduced, prescription discounts made up the bulk of the program. While the program has grown in other areas, the prescription discounts have saved thousands of CREC members nearly $800,000 in drug costs.

If you are out of work or between jobs, the discounts through Co-op Connections can be a godsend to help curb costs for your prescription medications until new job benefits become available. Even if you do have prescription coverage, it can pay to compare prices against the Co-op Connections discount.

The Co-op Connections prescription discount is available at over 60,000 pharmacies in the U.S. Expect to save between 10 to 85 percent on your purchase. The Medicine Shoppe, Schnucks, Dierbergs, CVS and Walgreens are just a few examples of where you can check for a Co-op Connections discount.

Besides prescription discounts, the Co-op Connections program provides Healthy Savings discounts on dental, vision, diabetic supplies, hearing aids, chiropractic, lab testing and MRI/CT scans.

Visit connections.coop to register for a free online Co-op Connections account to start accessing the Healthy Savings discounts, as well as other shopping and travel savings too. Once registered, download the Co-op Connections app for your smartphone to find participating pharmacies and compare the price of prescriptions. The app includes an electronic Co-op Connections card that contains all the information you need to give the pharmacy, however, you can print out a temporary card from the website if needed.
