Baseball Plus is a haven for the sports collector
Turn back the clock maybe 20 or 25 years and you might find a sports card shop to be a common business in small towns and larger cities alike. Not so today. Successful, surviving shops are more regional and carry a wide variety of items to satisfy the interests of a picky card collector.
Baseball Plus, located in St. Peters, fits that bill. The shop is also an inaugural partner with Cuivre River's Co-op Connections Card program.
Owner Mark Schlemeier saw a great advertising opportunity when he was presented Co-op Connections Card information. He says, “Free advertising is good for any business owner. Plus partnering with a reputable organization like Cuivre River was a no-brainer.”
The backbone of Baseball Plus’ business is offering packs and boxes of baseball, football, hockey and basketball cards for collectors of all ages. You can spend a couple of dollars for a pack from a basic collector set or purchase packs guaranteed to contain a special memorabilia piece or autograph card.
Baseball Plus offers more than collector cards. You’ll also find a fine selection of 8 x 10 photos, mini hockey and football helmets, vintage sports card sets and singles, card supplies and even Pokemon cards.
It’s been rumored that St. Nick has even loaded up on stocking stuffers at Baseball Plus during the holiday season!
