Annual Meeting FAQs
Below is some information that can be helpful for attending this Friday's Annual Meeting.
Q When is the Annual Meeting and where is it?
A The meeting is Friday, Aug. 10 and will be held at the air-conditioned Family Arena in St. Charles. Directions are printed on the back cover. Gates open at 4 p.m., with registration concluding at 7:15 p.m. The business meeting will start at 7:15 p.m.
Q Where do I enter?
A Gates 2, 3 and 4 will be open; each will have registration stations immediately inside the door. The arena is wheelchair accessible. Gate 2 has ground level entry; Gates 3 and 4 have wheelchair ramps.
Q What’s for dinner?
A Complimentary stadium hamburger or hot dog meals with chips, a fruit cup and a freshly-baked cookie will be served in concession areas located on the ground level near Section 102, and on level one near Sections 116, 118 and 121. Soft drinks and water will be available at refreshment stations near the concession areas.
Q Do I need meal tickets?
A Yes. Free meal tickets are provided to members of your immediate family when you register. No tickets are required for soft drinks. There are no concession sales.
Q What should I bring to register?
A Bring the two-part perforated registration card from the back cover of this issue. It serves as your proof of membership and helps you register quickly for the meeting and attendance prize drawing. If you do not have it, bring photo identification and a copy of your recent electric bill to register.
Q Do I have to be present to win an attendance prize?
A Yes. If you are not present to claim your attendance prize, another name will be drawn.
Q Is there entertainment?
A Butch Wax & The Hollywoods will perform before the business meeting, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Q Will there be exhibits?
A Cuivre River information stations and energy displays will be located on both levels. Employees will be on hand to answer questions about power production, advocacy, electric services, right-of-way activities, billing programs, MyCuivreApp, energy efficiency and rebates. A children’s area for ages 12 and under will be located upstairs on level one. There will be a drawing for youth bicycles and other prizes.
